About Bangladesh


Bangladesh is asmall low lying country in the south asia on the bay of bengl . It came into being in 1971 following a bloody battle . It’s total area is 1 ,47 ,570 square kilometres. The bay of bengal is to the south of the country. The other three sides are surrounded by India except for a small strip in the southeast by Myanmar. Most of its land are plain with some hilly area in the northeast and southeast of the country. The country criss-crossed by so many rivers and canals. The Padma, the meghna and the Jamuna are the main big rivers of the country. The country has a tropical monsoon clinet. The country has six seasons. They are summer, rainy, autumn, late autumn, winter and spring. The population of Bangladesh is abou 160 million. Majority of them are Muslim and the rest are hindus, Buddists and Cristains. Over 98 per cent of the people speak Bengali. . After all, the people of Bangladesh are very much peace loving.

Fruits of Bangladesh


Bangladesh is the darling child of nature. Many kinds of fruits grow in different season all over the country. Fruits are of different  kinds, colours, sizes and taste. Mango is the king of fruits in Bangladesh. There are many kinds of mangoes. Jack fruit is the biggest fruit. It is our national fruit.  Banana is another populer fruit. The  orange is juicy and tasteful fruit. The palm ia also a well-known good fruit. The papaw is also a good fruit. There are many other fruits in Bangladesh. The pine apple is a good fruit of rainy season. The lichi is another small and sweet fruit. It grows everywhere in Bangladesh but plenty in Dinajpur. Among other fruits black berries, dates, melon, guava, wood-apple and plums are very well known In Bangladesh .

Birds of Bangladesh


Birds of Bangladesh
Bangladesh is a sweet  home of birds. Birds of different kinds and species abound in this land. They abide in woods, in hills, in marshy plces and even in our homesteas. They are of various colours, sizes and habits. Some birds live on fruits and grain, some on worms and insects, some on fish and flesh, while some birds  feed on dirty and rotten things. Bangladesh resounds with the songs of birds. Among the singing birds, the cuckoo, the doel, the koel, the bou kotha kou and the nightingle are remarkable. The doel is our national bird.There are also different kinds of tailor birds in Bangladesh. Tailor birds are those that weave their nests themselves with surprising skill and dexterity.The babui is one of them.
So that every one should visit Bangladesh for watch bird’s paradise.
